Saturday finally comes. I am so excited because tomorrow is Sunday! I try to go to sleep early.
As I lie in my bed, my mind is struggling. I think about my Dad yelling out God’s name. I think of all the other times I’ve heard God’s name . . . at school . . . at the park . . . in the grocery store.
I remember Mrs. Kirkland’s soft words, “Use God’s name only when we’re speaking to God or talking about God.”
I am confused . . . Who’s right? What’s right?

About the Book
A Sunday school class is learning about the Ten Commandments. A young girl in the class is struggling with the third commandment and using the Lord’s name in a vain manner. She begins to understand that God’s name is holy and should only be used when she is talking to God or about God. However, she soon realizes that God’s name is often spoken in anger or frustration. Confusion sets in, and she begins to wonder, “Who’s right? What’s right?”

Wanda Lawrence is a Pastor’s wife, mother of three married children, and currently has six grandchildren. She has been teaching Children’s Sunday School for over 25 years. She currently teaches 3rd to 5th grade. She has a deep desire to help children find and understand the truth of the Word of God
