Eliab had heard his friends talking about this Man who could do amazing things—things that no one else had ever done before. People said He made sick people well. He even brought someone back from the dead! They also said He walked on water. What? Who could do that? It must be a trick, Eliab thought. I’d like to see how He does that, so I can do it, too.
He had also heard that this Man told wonderful stories, and He loved kids. He didn’t chase them away and tell them to be quiet like the other grown-ups.
Eliab didn’t know what to think about this Man, but today was the day he was going to find out for himself.

About the Author
Becci Terrill came to know and love Jesus as a young child through the stories told by her mother. Becci’s passion for sharing Jesus' love with children through stories has been evident for the past 30 years not only with her own children and the children in her classes, but also to children who are marginalized: have special needs, are homeless, in the foster care system and orphanages. Becci has served as the Children's Director at Oakwood Church in Hartland, WI since 2014.
