Is opposite sex relationship perfect? How many people look at the snow storm, hurricane, tornado, or fog, which can happen any place on any given day, and say to themselves this weather is perfect. Seems like everyone complains about any given day's weather. Couples similarly complain about their their opposite. Since we men and you women are so different a stormy relationship is waiting on the horizon unless we are taught to see the sunshine through the relationship clouds.
As John Gray explains in his book~”Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus”: We mistakenly assume that if our partner loves us they will react and behave in certain ways-the ways we react and behave when we love someone.”
So when men and women begin the dating and courting process and have not considered that outside of physically men and women are greatly different, then large hurdles immediately stand in-the-way. Without help after this realization, or an earlier foundation about our differences, men, it is much harder to overcome our GOD-Given desires in order to Honor a girl/woman in her GOD-Given desires first.
Men: we want a woman to know we care by our wanting to fix problems.
Women: you want to feel Loved by feeling you are listened to and believe you are heard.
Add to these realities what Florence Littauer described in her book “Personality Plus”, that each of us has a dominant personality type and likely a secondary personality trait. When a man and woman have the same dominant personality we are looking at a greater potential for conflict through competition in our strengths. When we are opposite in our personality strengths we have a greater likelihood in connecting through mutual appreciation for each others gifts. For example: If she has a natural gift for organization and he has a natural gift for leadership, he can't organize two fleas on a dog and she can't lead two people out of a room w/ one entry point. “Together” they can reach heights they cannot succeed at alone.

About the Book

Maybe you’ve watched a man pull out a chair for a woman in a restaurant and wondered, “why is he doing that?” This book gives insight into the time-honored history of chivalrous actions. It demonstrates different actions that should be taught as expectations for a woman and man in creating a lifetime living of character.
About the Author
The author was born in Grand Junction, CO in 1962 and grew up and attended primary school in Bethesda, MD thru 1980. He graduated in 1986 from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, CO w/ a business degree focusing on Computer Information Systems. David’s professional career has included work in a variety of small, medium, and large companies in Maryland, Virginia, and Colorado. He has also worked as a small business owner doing business from Coast-to-Coast.
David has been part of a very close family whose parents taught each son why he should honor every girl and woman, especially her whom he is courting for a lifetime. He has seen over his years a degrading of man and woman relationships and has been deepening his desire to be part of the renewal process thru the early education of boys and girls about Honor and Respect.
In 1997, David came to accept his FAITH in JESUS CHRIST at a business conference in Long Beach, CA. He has been on a Mission Trip to Kharkov, Ukraine in 2005 which dramatically impacted his life. He has worked w/ young children in AWANA at his church. He has grown immensely and deeper in his FAITH since 2004 when a series of events of loss impacted his life. Jesus put this project in his heart on August 2006 at a Foothills Bible Church of Littleton, Colorado Men’s Retreat in Tabernash, Colorado.
