I remember looking at myself in the mirror after showering one day, and I stood there with the help of Lucas, I thought, "Who is this person?" I looked so frail, I could see my ribs protruding, to the point of being able to count them, and my backbone was poking out all the way down my spine. Underneath my big belly, my hipbones distended. I did not feel like the beautiful pregnant woman that I had dreamed of, that many women claim to feel. In this state, I could barely walk or stand. My husband showered me and washed my hair. He even shaved my legs!... With the exception of doctor's appointments, I never even saw the kitchen or living room in my home.... Even though it was so terrible, I believe this is where I needed to be for the Lord to lift me up and for me to rely fully on Him, rather than on myself.

This book breaks walls down with heart-wrenching honesty and true feelings of desperation as her life was turned inside out. About the Author
Alexandra Stone is an author, mother, wife, and teacher. Through the most difficult storm in her life, she found a new side of her relationship with the Lord. She has spoken with mothers of loss and heartache all over the US and her book is a sure indication that her trials were not in vain.
