Dear Lord, the cry of my heart is for more of you,
Yes, I want to worship you in all that I do
Transform my life remove the sin and the dross,
Let others see you and come to the cross.

Why are you so angry? Why so distraught?
Sin is crouching at your door, don’t get caught?
Satan desires to sift you as wheat.
So I beg you spend time at Jesus

Never said I was perfect, never said I had arrived
In Christ I am accepted, in Him I am justified
Accepted into the family of His dearly loved son
In Him I have forgiveness for the wrongs I had done.

About the Author
Marslyn Hodge is currently employed as a Customs Officer. She enjoys reading and writing poetry.
Her first poem written was “What’s Her Name.” This she used as a spring board to propel her forward in bringing her collection of poems to fruition.
Marslyn lives in North Side, Anguilla with her husband and their two dogs, Spice and Black Nose.
