Today, can we know when Christ will return? Okay, lets have a brief recap here. We've seen in the previous section, God's sacred year starts in the spring, around our months March/April. He calls the first month Abib, which means, young, or green ears of grain, because it falls around the time the first green ears of corn, or grain are sprouting. Also the first day of the first month is marked by the 'New Moon' (which is 'God's New Year Day') and this first day of the first month is accompanied by the first blowing of trumpets as well.
It's important to know exactly when this first new moon occurs because all of God's Feast Days are reckoned from it. For instance, the first new moon, of the first month of 2018 falls on March 17th. Then fourteen days later, the Passover (Lev. 23:5). If we don't know when the first day of the first month is, how would we know when the fourteenth day of the month is? See what I mean? Don't forget, each succeeding month, the first day , the new moon, there's also the blowing of trumpets.
The reason there is a new moon on the beginning of every month, is because the terms moon and month come from the same root; therefore, new moon/ new month (Gen. 1:14-19). The two are synonymous, both the same. Gen. 1:16- And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; and He made the stars also. Vs. 17- And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to light the earth.
So on March 17,2018, the first day of the first month, there is the first new moon and the first blowing of trumpets (Rev. 8:7). And on April 16,2018, the first day of the second month, the second new moon, and the second trumpet sounds (Rev. 8:8).
On May 15, 2018, the first day of the third month, there is the third new moon, and the third trumpet sounds (Rev. 8:10).
On June 13, 2018, the first day of the fourth month, there is the fourth new moon, and the fourth trumpet sounds (Rev. 8:12).
On July 13, 2018, on the first day of the fifth month, there is the fifth new moon, and then the fifth trumpet sounds (Rev. 9:1). August 11, 2018, the first day of the sixth month, there is the sixth new moon, and then the sixth trumpet sounds (Rev. 9:13).
On September 9, 2018, at sundown, the first day of the seventh month, the seventh new moon, "THE SEVENTH, AND LAST TRUMPET SOUNDS!" Does that ring a bell? Read Rev. 11:15- The seventh and last angel sounded his trumpet, and there were great voices in heaven saying: "The Kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ; and He shall reign forever and ever (Rev. 20:6).
The first day in the seventh month in God's calendar is also called: "The Feast of Trumpets" (Lev 23:23-25). Is it possible, this is the very day Jesus Christ returns to take over the earth and set up the "Kingdom of God"? Don't forget, Jesus said: "This day and hour no man knows". If there is any indication in the Bible when that day is, this is it: The first day of the seventh month in "God's Calendar" when the seventh and last trumpet sounds. If this is so, this is also the day the "First resurrection occurs". 1 Cor. 15:51-54- Look I'll show you a mystery; we won't all sleep/die but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye "AT THE LAST TRUMPET" for the (seventh) trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this cor-uptible (flesh and blood human being), must put on incorruption (eternal Spirit being), and this mortal must put on immortality. Then shall the saying that is written be brought to pass: "Death is swallowed up in victory in victory" (Isaiah 25:8).
