He unhooked the dogs all at once and off they did go. Figuring this track to be about an hour and a half old, he didn't know if any would strike early or not. Then about two minutes into ordeal, the blue hound did give tongue with a thunderous bawl that would rock the very foundation of his inner being. The hunter followed close and observed every hound in the pack. The blue hound, out front and putting distance in between every strike of his voice, he, at this point, was separating himself from the rest of the pack, due to his nose power and cold trailing abilities. The other hounds had their noses to the ground trying to pick up the scent, but just couldn't.

This book focuses on the pleasure of coonhunting with many different breeds of coonhounds and one man's love of the sport. It explains the topics of owning, hunting, and caring for hounds. This book is inspirational on family values, coonhunting experiences and personal testimonies. There are also a few faith-based fictional stories that have a special place in the author's heart.
About the Author
William lives in Central New York with his wife, Sarah, and their four children. He loves to hunt, fish, camp and most importantly, worship God. He is a member of the First Baptist Tabernacle Church. He owns and operates, along with his brother, Lytle, a sanitation business called ADK Disposal. William’s mission is to be a disciple to other people by sharing his testimonies and faith-based stories.
