To begin with our study of the book of Revelation, the first two basic aspects we are going to take into consideration are the followings:
1. The way the messages are organized
2. The way the messages are communicated

How are the messages of the book of Revelation organized?
The messages of the book of Revelation are divided into two separate parts:
1. A message about the Lord Jesus and his Church; (Revelation 1-3)
2. A message about the Lord Jesus and his judgment; (Revelation 4-22)
How are the messages of the book of Revelation communicated?
The messages of the book of Revelation are communicated both in a literal (80%) and a symbolic (20%) way. Some of the symbols of the book of Revelation are already interpreted in the book itself, but most of them are not. All of those symbols that are not explained in the messages of the book of Revelation can easily be interpreted through the other prophetic books, such as, but not limited to, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and Zechariah.

To understand the book of Revelation in its entirety, all you need is a clear and an accurate interpretation of the symbols that are incorporated into the literal messages. Once you understand the correct way to interpret the messages that are conveyed through the structure, the symbols, and the spiritual expressions of the book of Revelation, you will no longer have any difficulty understanding the messages of the book of Revelation in a complete manner. The Lord did not send those messages to his people in order to confuse them, but rather, to open their eyes on the hidden things of God. The book of Revelation is a blessing to God's people. The more you understand its messages, the more it'll open your eyes on the reality of the Rapture of the Church.
Please remember, the book of Revelation is a very simple and a very well-organized book. The most effective way to study the messages of that book is to stay in the simplicity of the word of the Lord. Everything that is said in that book was placed there for a purpose.

The introduction of the Apostle John
(Revelation, chapter 1, verse: 1-9)
Revelation 1:1-2: “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. (See Rev 4:1, 5:1-10)
Here is where you need to start paying attention to the truthfulness of the Rapture of the Church when you begin studying the book of Revelation.
The purpose for which the judgment of the great tribulation was revealed to the Church is clearly explained in the above passage. As you can see, the judgment of the great tribulation was not revealed to God’s people as an announcement of what they will have to suffer in the future. This is not what the Revelation of the Lord was about at all. If the Church of Jesus-Christ really had anything to do with the judgment of the great tribulation, the Lord Jesus would have overtly revealed it to the Church just like he did in the letter to the Church of Smyrna, because the tribulation of the Church has never been kept secret from the Church.
Rev 2:10: “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life”.
