Abuse: A destructive behavior that breaks down self, marriages, families and relationships. Most of my life was all messed up, physically, emotionally, and mentally. The more I realized just how abnormal my life was, the more those thoughts played with my mind. The only way to cope with this loss was to make excuses and defend the very thing that kept me bound my entire life--dysfunction. Until I realized I could not do a thing with and for my life, I tried daily to scheme up ways to survive--looking for love in all the wrong places, pretending to be someone I wasn‘t, and manipulating to get what I needed.
People always believed in me but I didn‘t believe in myself; thus I took shortcuts. It is all I knew. I found out the hard way that taking all those shortcuts was the very thing that prohibited the fullness of my life. One of those shortcuts was denying Christ, believing it was easier and more fun my way. But only through God has my life been made right. All the instructions I will ever need for life are in the Bible. Being all God created me to be…. that is where riches and true contentment are.

Janet Marie Napper is the wife of Kenneth Napper. Together they have six children and 9 grandchildren. Kenneth and Janet serve their local church, love God and their family.
