Cole awoke with his heart pounding loudly in his ears. He sat up and swung his feet to the floor, and tried to envision the details of his dream. There was the sound of a crackling fire and horse stalls being kicked. It must be real, could it be their stables? He ran down stairs and woke his dad.
“I’m headed to the stables. Something is on fire!”
“I’m right behind you, son!”
Upon arriving at the stables all was quiet, except for Cole’s heart pumping. “Dad, this was one of those dreams that I know speaks of something that will happen. And right now, my heart is telling me it IS happening! Could it be India’s place or Conner’s? Hurry, let’s call them. Hurry Dad!”
Al called India first, and apologized for disturbing her, but related that Cole’s dream had urgency to it, and she needed to check the stables. Then he called Conner, and after only two rings, Conner answered and sounded wide awake. As Al was sharing Cole’s dream, Conner dropped the phone. He could see the fire from his house.
Taking no thought of himself, only his precious horses, he ran to the stables, and unlocked every stall. He yelled and clapped his hands urging them to flee, and as the flames licked his naked legs, he saw the last horse to safety. His legs felt lit up like torches, but he had escaped and his precious horses were saved. He laid on the ground shaking from shock and pain. He knew he needed to get himself to the hospital. Oh God, I need your help! He drifted in and out of consciousness. He tried again to get up, and this time he knew He had God’s strength.

About the Author
When God gave Laura a vision, which was a victory over cancer, she embarked upon writing Out of the Mouths of Babes, the sequel to Fingernail Moon. Fingernail Moon had been circulated in prisons, hope ministries and half-way houses and did lend itself to a sequel, but Laura needed more motivation than just the requests of others to write another book. GOD CAN MOTIVATE! After weeks of being bombarded with the script in her mind and awakening in the middle of the night, she again surrendered and became a vessel for the Holy Spirit to write another book!
