I AM BEAUTIFUL, I AM LOVED
Whispers of my Father’s love
Permeate my soul
Whispers of His pure, sweet love
Love that transcends all
Feeling oh! so beautiful
Feeling oh! so loved
Gift from heaven’s Wonderful
No longer unloved
I am beautiful, I am loved
And no one can convince me otherwise
Because the One called Love
Wrote it on my heart
Before I took my first breath
He breathed love into my heart
Birdies singing blessed tune
Still flowers blooming
All of nature will be soon
No longer groaning
And as I look to the skies
Whether grey or blue
No more held with Satan’s lies
Child of God, brand new
I am beautiful, I am loved
And no one can convince me otherwise
Because the One called Love
Wrote it on my heart
Before I took my first breath
He breathed love into my heart
Yes, before I took my first breath
He breathed love into my heart
GIVE ME A HEART TO LOVE YOU, LORD
Give me a heart to love You, Lord
A heart that will always care
Care when I can't feel Your presence, Lord
But knows You're forever there
Give me a heart that can love You, Lord
A heart that without You can't love
Love when the skies are in darkness, Lord
But knows the sweet blessings above
Give me a heart that is able, Lord
To love You unconditionally
Something I could never do, Lord
Unless Your Spirit's made His home in me
Oh! Give me a heart to love You, Lord
As only Love's love can love
Bind it with cords of tenderness, Lord
Lift it heavenward on the wings of the Dove
HETTIE HIPPO GOES A-FLYING
One day a hippo so grey
Was seen flying the skies so blue
Everyone had to rub their eyes
They couldn’t believe that it was true
“It’s Hettie,” someone shouted
Way up among the clouds
How could she possibly fly
So high above the crowds?
“Hettie, Hettie come right down”
Cried Mrs Ma Hippo below her
“You’re way too big to be playing games”
And Hettie whizzed past in a blur
“Would someone please bring her down
The sky can’t hold her forever”
“I’ll go and get her,” said Mr Pa Hippo
“I’d better go, ’cause it’s now or never”
So racing to his garden shed
Pa Hippo grabbed the extension ladder
He knew he’d bought the extra long one for a reason
“I don’t want Ma to be any sadder”
Up and up and up and up
He went with the brand new steps
Seemed like all the way to heaven
Step one, step two and a hundred reps
“Look, he’s nearly by her side”
Sweet Ma Hippo stopped her crying
“Hettie Hippo, grab on tight”
Yelled Pa through all the sighing
Finally, Pa and Hettie were together
But they were descending way too fast
Everyone, clear the decks and run for cover
And the two grey astro-hippos landed at last
“Phew! We’re down, we’re down”
Laughed Hettie gleefully
“Not so fast, young Missy Hippo”
Frowned Ma and Pa seriously
“Awwwwwh! I was only having fun
My friends said hippos can’t fly
But I showed them, didn’t I?
That you can do anything if you try!”
