Author Featured in USA Today Article about Military Families and Their Struggles

November 13, 2012 – WestBow Press author Cregg Chandler was featured in a USA Today article about military families and the difficulties that arise from separation during temporary duty assignment.

Chandler is a retired United States Air Force base chaplain with 29 years of experience serving in the Air Force in the United States, Korea, and Spain.  He is also the author of A Separation Survival Guide for Military Couples – a book he wrote to help military families prepare for the painful journey that ensues during separation.

In his book, Chandler offers tools for couples to strengthen their relationship and tips to avoid pitfalls that can ruin their relationships.  He has found that military life can bring on stress, isolation, and frustration, all factors that have led to an increase in extramarital affairs for both male and female veterans.
