Within seconds of Dan’s entering the room, he shouted out my nickname, “Terry!” I heard desperation in his voice. My heart sank in my chest. I dropped whatever I had in my hands and ran to where my husband was. Then, I stood by the door in disbelief. Dan was sobbing inconsolably and sitting on the floor in the opposite corner of the room. He was covering his face with his hands as he wept. All I remember is Dan saying, “Danielito went to be with the Lord. Danielito went to be with the Lord.” **** I read these lines and wondered what Dany was thinking at the moment. He was being real. I could see myself hugging him for his bravery. There is no doubt in my mind that Danny was probably thinking about others who faced similar sexual struggles. Danielito had a big heart. Many times, I said to him, “I see you.” He understood me to mean, “I get you,” or “I know what you’re doing.” Those words wrapped my son in a big hug. My heart was full of compassion for others, especially those struggling like he was. As I write this book, my heart prays for Christian parents who must face what comes with having a gay son or a lesbian daughter. However, there is hope in Christ for our loved ones. There is power in the cross of Calvary for those who struggle in same-sex relationships.

About the Book
This book is about how God’s faithfulness in keeping His promises sometimes can unleash the most painful experience a Christian parent can endure. This is true when God speaks softly to your heart saying He will take a son from you. Struggling as any adolescent does during puberty and self-discovery, her son Danny entangles himself in the life of homosexuality. As a mom does not accept such deviant behavior and engages in spiritual warfare for the sake of her son.
Deep in her sorrows of experiencing loss, after loss in her relationship with her son, the author holds desperately to God for fresh nourishing in His presence along the way.
Danny survives suicide attempts. The parents survive the unbearable sight of watching their son hurt himself in their presence while cutting himself in a desperate attempt to “silence” the demons in his head as he said while doing it.
God is honored throughout this book. The individuals who are part of this story are respected and admired for their courage and undeniable faith in a Creator and Designer.
About the Author
Teodosia seeks God's presence in the midst of a dark path. It is a path she embarks on her mission to see her son be delivered from the lifestyle of homosexuality. Through prayer and believing that God still speaks to His children today, she relentlessly joins her husband and daughter in a quest that only God can sustain them. Faith in God and her love for her homosexual son come face to face in battle for the truth. At the end, she faces the trade-off of losing her son to death in order to see him in heaven. But did she really lose? Or did God win?
